Cello and Time
Purpose
“Cello in Time” was created to visualize the emotion that develops with unpursed dreams.
I focused my studies to weathering due to mites, mold, dust, and water rather than breakage or misuse. I referenced the new cello off my roommate's cello.

Studied reflectivity of cellos and various stages of degrade of cellos, wallpaper, paintings, and paper.
Fascinatingly I discovered that cellos often become more expensive as they age because they provide a richer- earthier sound and was actually a praised aspect.
Because of this research I had to expand my efforts to make the cello look degraded due to under use, mold, and water damage- rather than wear by years of admirable, healthy practice.
