DAILY BLOG

Being an artist depends on the ability to adapt to an ever changing world.

To do this I continuously blog on Instagram with  drawings and research - studying my surroundings to polish my craft while also having fun.

We Before jumping to Maya we need to take some essential photos to make it easier to translate information from reality to CG. If we don't, then we have to merely guess, and fumble around eye balling a photo.

In order to capture accurate lighting environment and reflection to be used in CG, we have to take a photo of a chrome ball or through a fisheyelens with multiple exposures.

Capturing a chrome ball (I used a small garden sphere from Amazon for about $12) and used 7 images with different exposure steps to get a large range of light information.
